Verse is a language for creating game-like experiences, designed by Epic Games for Unreal Engine. Verse is also a theoretical language study into the integration of functional and logical programming. While its design draws on decades of ideas from both communities, it includes many new and exciting ideas. In this talk, I will overview a few features that make Verse unique and describe its novel approach to denotational semantics.
